Located in Gnowangerup, WA, Donald Brown partnered with AUSPAN to design and construct a purpose-built multipurpose storage shed to support his contract spraying business across the Great Southern region. Designed to accommodate up to eight sprayers, the facility features six open bays for easy access and a fully enclosed workshop area housing two additional sprayers, providing secure storage, improved functionality and greater operational efficiency.

The CHALLENGE

Planning for long-term business growth

Donald Brown needed a practical storage solution to support the machinery operations of his business.

The challenge was determining whether two separate sheds or a single integrated facility would provide the most efficient, functional and cost-effective outcome.

The final design needed to maximise operational efficiency and provide the flexibility to meet long-term needs business needs and support future growth.

Maximise overall storage capacity
Workshop storage space with open-front area

The Solution

A solution designed around productivity and practicality

Utilising AUSPAN’s in-house design and construction expertise, a purpose-built 64m (L) x 21m (W) multipurpose storage facility was delivered to accommodate up to eight sprayers and support storage and servicing requirements.

To enhance functionality and usability, the facility incorporates three 16m girder trusses, creating large clear-span openings that maximise internal space and improve machinery access and maneuverability.

Delivered by AUSPAN’s local WA design, manufacturing and project delivery teams, the project was managed from concept through to completion, with clear communication and dedicated support provided throughout every stage.
