Hello and welcome to the AUSPAN Ag Inform for October.
Last month was another busy one for the AUSPAN team with Newdegate Machinery Field Days plus two great events in the Geraldton area.
MULLEWA FIELD WALK

The first of these was the Mullewa Field Walk, which featured some fantastic activities and speakers, including our very own Dean Imberti, who gave an informative presentation on topics that included shed design, wind region implications, and a Q&A session.
UAV pilot and engineering surveyor Flynn Drage

One of the speakers was UAV pilot and engineering surveyor Flynn Drage, who gave a great talk on the work he’s been doing in the areas of drone mapping for more effective crop health, weed identification, and spot spraying. He’s looking for more people to get involved in the data collection, as it helps all WA crop farmers, so if you’re keen to get involved, you can reach him at flynn@htds.com.au
SHEDWARMING EVENT AT CRITCH FARMING IN TENINDEWA

The following day AUSPAN held a shedwarming event at an 80 x 40 x 8.45m Machinery Shed shed we recently constructed for Critch Farming. The event was a great success, with farmers from across the region coming together to learn more about what goes into building a great shed. And a special mention must go to Alex from Alex Street Food for supplying some of the best burgers we’ve ever tasted!
18 x 19 x 4.7m Storage Facility in Bremmer Bay

And now it’s time to check out some of your recently completed sheds, and we’re going to start this month in Bremmer Bay and this 18 x 19 x 4.7m Storage Facility for Brad Tapscott. This project features 2 x PA doors, 5 x 6m double track bottom-rolled sliding doors with brush strips for dust minimisation, and 6 x windows.
32 x 18 x 6m Machinery Shed in Piesseville

Next we’re heading 300Ks northwest to Piesseville and the farm of Kara Jeffrey. This is a 32 x 18 x 6m Machinery Shed with 4 x 8m bays, and is a great example of one of our ECOSPAN shed kits.
ECOSPAN Shed Kits

Just a quick reminder that our ECOSPAN shed kit range was developed recognising that not all customers require a built-to-order shed or bespoke construction services. The ECOSPAN shed kit designs are selected based on their popularity among AUSPAN’s clientele. These kits are not only straightforward to install but are also optimised for efficient manufacturing and delivery, potentially saving you both time and money.
40 x 24 x 7.1m Tunnel Shed in Moorine Rock

And finally we head 350Ks northeast and this recently built Machinery Shed for Will Maddock in Moorine Rock. This is a 40 x 24 x 7.1m Tunnel Shed with 1m overhangs at each end. This shed was also designed for future expansion, with a planned 20m lean-to off the 42m west side.
20 x 12 x 4.7m Multipurpose Shed in Moorine Rock

And this month we have a bonus shed for you, because this was a double shed build, with the other being this 20 x 12 x 4.7m Multipurpose Shed features 1 x PA door, 2 x 3m roller doors, and a 12m girder truss for clearspan opening.

And we’re finishing off this month’s Ag Inform with a reminder that we’ll be attending both the Esperance Show (Site #36) and Albany Agricultural Show in the next few weeks, so if you’re planning on heading to either event, make sure you swing past the AUSPAN marquee and grab some merch!

So that’s it for October. All the best for the rest of the month and we’ll catch up with you again in November.
