Hello and welcome to the AUSPAN Ag Inform for January.
First things first…Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had a great time over the Christmas and New Year break although some of you we’re sure will be enjoying some much-deserved time off during January as well.
AUSPAN Annual Survey 2024 Results
At the end of last year, we ran our annual AUSPAN survey which always provides some fascinating insight into what we can be doing better, as well as providing us with your thoughts on the industry as a whole.
One of the key points we took away was that well over 80% of you believe that it is very important that your shed provider is WA-owned and operated, which we thought was particularly striking given the number of non-WA shed builders that are now operating in our state. If this is something that you believe strongly in, find out where the head office of the company you’re speaking to is and make a more informed choice. Working with one of the WA-owned and operated shed builders, whether it’s with AUSPAN or another builder, means the profits and flow-on benefits remain in our state which is a good thing for all of us!
We also wanted to take this opportunity to thank the 10 lucky prize winners who each won a $500 Ultimate Gift Card. It was a great feeling during our last week of work for 2024 to make those 10 phone calls and give the prize winners the news that their Christmas’s had come early.
Shed Guide 2025 Coming Soon!
Another annual event that is just around the corner is the distribution of our latest Shed Guide which will appear as an insert in the February 6 edition of the Farm Weekly. This year’s shed guide is packed full of information on the various shed types, as well as some of the available options that you can use to customise your next shed project, so make sure you pick up your copy of the Farm Weekly that week.

And now let’s take a look at our first set of completed shed projects for 2025, and we start our journey approximately 230km northeast of Perth at Koorda, and this 24x15x7.4m Grain and Fertiliser Shed for Reece Boyne complete with 4x 6m bays.
32 x 15 x 6m Machinery Shed in Kondinin
A three hour drive south of Koorda will take you to Kondinin and this 32x15x6m Machinery Shed featuring 4x 8m bays that we recently completed for Gary Biglin.
24 x 21 x 5m Multipurpose Shed in Redmond
And our final featured shed for January is this project we recently completed for Peter Mostert. This 24x21x5m Multipurpose Shed has 3x 8m bays, 2x top hung sliding doors, as well as custom columns that were designed to accommodate the 3° slope on the shed pad.
