Dongara Marine is a boat building and boat maintenance company, specialising in vessels constructed from aluminium, fibreglass / composites, and timber, and used for commercial, government, and recreational pursuits. They had outgrown their facilities in Dongara and needed to expand their construction capabilities by building a new, purpose built, boat building facility in Geraldton.
The proximity of the building to the ocean presented a challenge with regard to ensuring the correct materials were selected to ensure durability of those exposed elements to the harsh conditions.
AUSPAN was able to work closely with the managing director at Dongara Marine to design a bespoke solution, tailor made to their operational requirements.
There’s a lot of red tape when you’re building up here at the port, and AUSPAN were great at dealing with that. It was as simple as they did the work, and we paid the bills.
You couldn’t do this without having a project manager. For the project you need one person you can go to with any problems, and he sorts it all out and that’s it, you’re done.
I highly recommend AUSPAN. The product’s first class and everyone walks away happy.
