Hello and welcome to the AUSPAN Industrial Inform for Q3 2026.
We’ll start this edition of the Industrial Inform with some project announcements, and first up we have Proquip’s new earthmoving equipment rental and sales branch in Forrestdale.
Proquip’s New Rental and Sales Branch in Forrestdale
Site clearing is now complete, retaining walls are in place, footings are also completed, and the structural steel has been delivered & mostly erected. External earthworks and fencing are ongoing. Tilt panel manufacture is continuing. The plumbing & electrical in-ground works are also progressing. The project is tracking well and we’re looking forward to handover in October 2026.
CJD Equipment facility in Albany
Our next project announcement takes us to the Great Southern, where we’re delivering a new CJD Equipment facility in Albany. This design and construct project includes a workshop, warehouse, and office facility to support CJD’s expanding operations in the region. Retaining walls are now complete; bulk earthworks are progressing well, and the next stage will see boundary fencing and in-ground services commence, including electrical, fire, plumbing and stormwater. The project is tracking well and we’re looking forward to handover in early 2027.
Birchmead Progress Update
And now for this month’s progress update at Birchmead. Since our last update, the internal concrete bunker walls within the bulk storage building are now complete, and roof cladding has been installed. Wall cladding and awnings are progressing well, while internal formworks are nearing completion. On the civil side, the weighbridges and wheel wash infrastructure are almost complete, and construction of the external concrete pavements and driveways is now underway.
Internally, the office is progressing well, with mechanical and air conditioning systems nearing completion, and plumbing and electrical services continuing toward finalisation. Looking ahead, the next stages will include continued construction of external paved areas, completion of the office fitout, ongoing electrical, plumbing and hydraulic works, installation of fencing and gates, and painting, tiling and floor coverings. Overall, the project is tracking well and we’re looking forward to handover this month.
