You know the end of the year isn’t far away when you’re preparing for the Esperance Show. You can catch up with Giles and Dean from the AUSPAN team on stand 63, so if you’re going to be heading to the show, make sure you swing past and say g’day.
You’ll also know the end of the year is fast approaching if you’re a bowls player, as the 2023/24 summer season rolls around. Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves with that one
The Westonia Wanderers have started their season in style, with the recent completion and launch of their new AUSPAN bowling green cover. Standing at 46 x 32 x 4m, this cover now gives the Wanderers the ability to play whether it’s rain, hail, or shine, while also providing the playing surface with sufficient solar protection to extend its life by approximately twice that of an uncovered green.
A particularly interesting feature of this project is the bird-deterrent laser device, which does exactly what it sounds like it does, and helps to keep shiny new buildings protected from damage that can be caused by any unwelcome feathered friends.

Now we’re going to head to Esperance, but just before we get there, we’re going to make a stop at Ravensthorpe and this 32 x 24 x 8.3 chemical shed.
And then just a couple of hours down the road in Esperance, we have a perfectly blue sky and this 40 x 15 x 6.6m hay shed.
It’s not often we feature a new project that’s close to the city, and by close we mean really close. And it’s a big one too! This 64 x 21 x 5.5m arena cover is located in Millendon which is less than 40 minutes from the Perth CBD.
You know how much we love sharing our clients’ stories and this case study that we shared recently is one of our favourites. The original shearing shed, which was built by Jessica Hortsman’s father, was levelled by Tropical Cyclone Seroja. Finally, if you’ve been following our socials for the past few months, you may have noticed that each month we hold BBQs and other lunch events at our six different office locations, where we ask each of our team to make a gold coin donation, which is matched by AUSPAN. Telethon is a WA institution supporting the welfare of children and young people, as well as funding research into children’s diseases.
