Overview/brief

After Tropical Cyclone Seroja damaged their existing shearing shed beyond repair, Jessica Hortsman and her family took the opportunity to replace the damaged shed with a shearing shed combined with a workshop.

Challenges

Complex Reconstruction

Replacing a damaged shed with a much larger, multi‑level structure on a rocky hillside required expert surveying and planning.

Solution

Innovative Upgrade

AUSPAN collaborated with the client and a preferred fit‑out supplier to design an innovative, multi‑level, multi‑purpose shed.

Incorporated a retaining wall and staircase inside the shed.
Top and bottom roll sliding door.
Ridge vent and wall vents to the shearing area.
