Commodity Shed for Ord River District Co-Operative Ltd

AUSPAN designed and engineered a 72m x 25m x 9m shed with a 150mm concrete floor slab and 3.6m x 6m tilt-up concrete panels for durability. The structure features five bottom-mounted double-track sliding doors — three at 6m x 8m and two at 5m x 8m — providing wide, reliable access even in high wind conditions.

To improve efficiency and reduce obstructions, an 18m clear-view girder truss was incorporated to eliminate additional columns at key access points. This thoughtful engineering allowed for greater internal flexibility and smoother product movement.

Throughout the process, AUSPAN provided fast technical responses, clear specifications, and seamless coordination with Red Rust Construction. This team approach ensured the build stayed on schedule and delivered an exceptional outcome that met Ord Co’s operational goals.
