THE NEW BIG TRACTOR IN GNOWANGERUP
Let’s start with some pretty exciting stuff that’s been happening during May in Gnowangerup, Auspan’s home town and where our Head Office is located.
Following the hard work and dedication of the “Big Tractor Committee”, Gnowangerup has been chosen as the location to house the world’s biggest tractor! The giant replica will be five times the normal size of a Chamberlain 40K making it approximately 17.2 metres long, 10.2m wide and 10m high!
Well done all involved, amazing to see what works out when passion and dedication meet!
MASTER BUILDERS AWARD
On the 25th, one of our valued building partners Crothers Construction scooped up the Master Builders Building Excellence Awards for the “Best Industrial Building – in the $1.5M – $5M” category for the Karratha Airport Hangar. Congratulations to the Crothers team and all involved in this project, great to be rewarded with this recognition! Well done! AUSPAN worked with Crothers Construction to Design & Construct this eye catching hangar in Australias harshest wind region, Wind Region D. Some of the notable features of this building are the 30 meter clear span building design which incorporates a cyclone rated triple track sliding door system providing a 29.6m clear airside opening. This building also includes a large mezzanine floor and office facilities for the Aspen Medical Team.
CURRENT PROJECTS UPDATE
Some other great projects that we are working on or recently completed are:
- Workshop and Machinery Storage facility in Geraldton for McIntosh & Son with Crothers Construction
- A Turn Key solution including concrete floor and tilt panels for Cargill Malt
- Continuation of works on the Carz4u project which now has tilt panels standing and structural steel complete ready to start cladding
- The Karratha Airport hangar which we completed for Crothers Construction.
- Machinery Storage Shed for the Gnowangerup Shire

ALBANY OFFICE UPDATE
Those of you who watched last months inform may remember the photos of the new Albany office fit out under construction, the Albany team have now moved in and enjoying their new office.
