AUSPAN INFORM JANUARY 2023

Written by Jeff Alagar | 10 January 2023

Welcome to the AUSPAN Agricultural Inform for January 2023!

2022 recap

As mentioned in the last Inform, this month we’re doing a recap of the year that was 2022. Not only did many of our clients in the Ag space have a great year, we also had a very positive year too, so let’s take a look at some of the numbers.

We completed 137 farm shed projects with a total area covered of over 100,000 square meters. This involved almost 54,000 project days, and around 3,500 tonnes of steel delivered to site, which saw our trucks travel approximately 240,000km. That’s the same as 6 journeys around the planet!

We were particularly gratified that 75% of projects completed in 2022 were for new customers, up from 65% in 2021, which shows that word of mouth is so important in this industry. We feel this is a real testament to the hard work our team perform each and every day.

GREAT PLACE TO WORK CERTIFICATION

Speaking of things we’re always striving to do, as a team we’re always doing whatever we can to ensure that AUSPAN remains a great place to work, and that’s why we were so proud to achieve our Great Place to Work certification last month. We’re always on the lookout for great new team members, so feel free to get in touch if you’re looking for a new opportunity in the Design & Construct building space, and even if we don’t have something straight away, it probably won’t be long before we do.

recent projects

BUNTINE WORKSHOP SHED

300 Km’s north of Perth to Buntine, and this is where you’ll find this recently completed 640m2, 4 bay workshop.

TUNNEL SHED IN TAMBELLUP

And from 300 Km’s north of Perth, now we’re headed 300 Km’s south-east of Perth to Tambellup, where we recently completed the build on this 480m2 tunnel shed.

What’s in store for 2023? Well, the big tip is that if you’re thinking about building a shed this year, please contact us sooner rather than later, as monthly build slots are always closing.

June builds for us closed back in November, so if you’re thinking of a hay or grain shed for harvest 2023, or any other type of shed for that matter, avoid disappointment, and get in touch asap!
